Terms of Use
Effective September 21, 2026 · Privacy Policy · Terms of Use
Plain terms for a free site. Using Gradlume means you accept them; if you don't, please don't use it.
What Gradlume is
Gradlume is a free informational website. It presents public data about employers, automated readings of resumes and job postings, and links to openings published elsewhere. It is provided as-is, for general information only.
What Gradlume is not
- Not legal or immigration advice. Nothing on this site is a substitute for advice from a licensed immigration attorney or your school's Designated School Official (DSO). Immigration rules and employer policies change; check with them before acting.
- Not career advice or a guarantee. Resume scores, keyword coverage, suggested role titles and rewrites are produced by rules and by AI models. They are indicative, can be wrong, and do not predict whether any employer will interview or hire you.
- Not a statement of any employer's current policy. “Sponsorship record” figures are derived from historical public filings (the USCIS H-1B Employer Data Hub). Past petitions do not mean an employer sponsors today, for your role, or at all. The “sponsorship signal” on a posting is a reading of the posting's wording, not a fact about the employer.
- Not affiliated with USCIS, the Department of Homeland Security, or any employer, university or job board named or linked on the site. Trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
Using the site
- You must be 16 or older.
- Upload only resumes you have the right to share, and only your own personal data or data you are authorised to use.
- Don't scrape, overload, probe, or attempt to bypass rate limits or access controls; don't use the site to build a competing dataset from our curated lists.
- Accounts are optional. If you create one, keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think it has been compromised. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page.
Your content
You keep all rights to anything you upload or paste. You grant us a licence to store it and to process it to run and improve Gradlume (including sending resume text to an AI provider to generate suggestions), as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not publish, sell or share your content.
Third-party links and services
Employer career pages, job postings, LinkedIn searches, YouTube and other linked sites are run by others under their own terms and privacy policies. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability or practices. Job listings shown here are reproduced from public APIs and may be outdated, incomplete or withdrawn.
Our content
The site's design, text, curated employer lists and code are ours or our licensors'. Public data reproduced here (such as USCIS figures) remains public. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes; anything more needs our written permission.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gradlume and the people who build it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, employment, income or immigration status, arising from your use of or reliance on the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of US $50 or the amount you paid us for the service in the past twelve months (which, for a free site, is zero). Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.
Termination
You can stop using the site at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts the service at risk.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them elsewhere.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions: ypadesta@gmail.com.
